Happy New Year!!

A great holiday away to Pauanui for the New Years. Brent and Kathy were down for the first couple of days then off on their New Years trip. Brad, Tania and Natalia stayed with Natalia being Mia's little buddy to play with on her mat and Brad helping out with bath time.
Nana Pat and Poppa JC were told lots of stories and given loads of smiles (just as well someone was around to enjoy those early morning smiles...that's definately a courtney thing, as I was too busy sleeping in most of the days!!).
For New Years night we went to the Grant and Elizabeth Hay's party (Alannah's parents) was a really great night with loads of kids big and little enjoying themselves. Lucky for us there were fireworks which Dudley doesn't like so much so off Nana Pat and Poppa JC went at 11.30 to look after the Grandkids and all the animals!!! (Mum and Dad were not so responsible!!)
We left on the 2nd afternoon but not before Pat christened her new golf clubs giving Paul a game but i am not sure who was giving the lesson!
Mia was a gem for the whole holiday, just getting a little bit overwhelmed with big groups (might be that she won't share the attention!). She loved playing on her mat, walking with Nana Pat and showing off in her bath.

Missing you all in Scotland but when i heard from you all last it sounded like you were all in for a big night, hope it all went well and you have all recovered (and if not Uncle Craig, we hope you have recovered by tomorrow!)
