Trick or Treat

Mia went to Nana Pat's dressed for Haloween today...bet she wishes she could have got bag of candy for it! Maybe next year Mia, when you are bigger (although i must say that her tricks and her costume outdid any of the trick or treaters at our house tonight!).

Something Fishy

Pat and JC's fishing club had a tournament on the weekend and here is a pic of the winners (I think Mia is the cutest, but thats just my opinion). She seemed to also like her 'bath tub' on the fist night down in Pauanui which is just as well because we have stolen their other bath for Mia

My new look

This weekend Mia has started scrunching her nose up when she smiles...too cute!

Open Day at the Alpaca Farm!!!

Paul, Mia and I went for a drive on Sunday past Tairua and we found an open day at an Alpaca farm!! Weird?! Mia was excited at first but a little bit chicken to get too close, she stayed firmly stuck to Paul then tried to climb on to me but was happy to look and wave at them. Then we met another little girl the same age as her (but not nearly as loud!) they had fun staring at each other and i think Mia was checking out her shoes!

More tricks

Yeah Nana Pat and Poppa JC are back from their cruise! Mia was very excited to see them again. We went to Pauanui for the long weekend, Mia went down earlier with Pat but they got stuck in bad traffic and had to make a pit stop to the shops where Nana Pat found a pop up tunnel. Mia loves crawling back and forward though it (Mummy can't fit through it!). She also found a recorder which Mia thinks is pretty cool, we could start up a band soon.

At the park

Mia showed Granddad all her new tricks at the park. She loves going there, I feel so mean driving past without stopping now becasue she says oooh oooh and points out the window!

Big Kisses

Great Aunty Edith was over for a five day holiday last week. Mia gave her lots of sloppy kisses on her last day and we managed to have lots of coffee outings while she was here. Hope the boys had everything in one piece when you got home Edith. (four boys in charge!)

Another play mate

Great Aunty Edith has been over for a holiday. Mia waves over and over saying hi ensuring she has Edith's full attention.

Cool toy Lanny!

Mia went to play with Lanny for the day and discovered they best game...she holds on tight and Lanny drags her round the house in a box. Mia thought it was so awesome and waved with one arm as she went past me every now and then.

Molly's 1st Birthday!

We went to Molly's first birthday last week. It was a cool afternoon with lots of yummy food even though Mia seemed to save enough room for some soil out of the pot plant! She had a great time and got her first ice cream cone.

At the park

Lanny thought she was a big kid playing on the swings till another little kid pointed out to his Mummy that there was an adult playing on the swings.....when did we become adults??

Pauanui

Last weekend we went to Pauanui with Lanny and Mark. We went along to watch paul and lanny fish off the rocks and Mia thought it was great (for a little while anyway) she was waving madly at Paul the whole time.
