Happy Birthday Granddad!!

Granddad's birthday today, so Mia hung out with him for the day then everyone came to our place for dinner and pressies. In the lead up to Mia's birthday i have been giving cake making a go, so Granddad got a thistle one.

School Reports & Swings

Mia had her first sleepover at Nana Pat's on Monday night (and Nana had no help either as JC is away!) she came home with a very good report though, 10/10 for behaviour. She played lots of games and also had fun with Uncle Brad, he like her impersonation of an owl.

On Wed Granddad and Mia went off to feed the ducks and play on her favourite swings. They also went for coffee up at Titirangi where Mia showed off her waving skills to all the staff and charmed them all.

Breakfast Snooze

Couldn't believe it, the other morning Mia wasn't even finished her breakfast and she fell asleep in her highchair!! For nearly half an hour!! It' s no wonder she gets so tired crawling round so fast and generally getting up to mischief.

Back again

No up dates for a little while, Mummy's been slack! Had a lazy weekend last weekend. Paul finished work early and Mia went off to Nana Jean's and Granddads so we went off to the movies and to visit Lanny, Mark and Bump. On Saturday we went off to Pauanui to visit Nana Pat. Mia had a great time taking EVERYTHING out of Nana Pat's wallet and scattering it all over the place, she was nowhere to be found when it came to clearing up the mess though. Went to the club to watch the rugby and I still have a bump on my head from falling off my bike (don't drink and ride!!)

I got mail!!!

A parcel arrived for Mia from Aunty Jessie the Great! She likes her cute new 'Peerie Wife' outfit (it is an endearment they use in Shetland for little girls meaning little wife, now Paul calls me that too!!). Thanks Aunty Jessie, it's exciting getting things in the mail.

Great Aunty June

June is up visiting for a week, so we met for lunch on Sunday then Mia got to play with her for the whole day on Tuesday, hope she was good!!.

Blowing Bubbles

Mia loves blowing bubbles now and generally making all sorts of new sounds (some getting very loud!). She also came home from Pat's with ANOTHER new jumper!

Molly Moo

We went to visit Molly and Jane this afternoon. Molly has grown up so much since we last saw her, she is even standing now! The girls had a great time playing and babbling away to each other and Molly gave Mia a big sloppy kiss!

Paul forgot to tell me he tried this costume on when he was choosing an outfit for Andrew's 21's so i still haven't stopped laughing after just getting them in the email out of the blue! The things they get up to! Do you think he suits it??
