Out and About

A busy day today, with not much sleeping going on on Mia's behalf. Met up with Christine, Mum, Dad and Amy for coffee. Mia decided Amy was much more interesting than her bottle!

In the afternoon we went to see Kath and Sal. I cannot believe that Sal is 16months already. She was on the go the whole time and the two girls were having a right old conversation to each other. Sal even pretended to take a call on her mummy's cell phone! Good to see you both again.

Day with Nana Pat

Mia started Tuesday's with Nana Pat yesterday. Nana Pat said she was a good little girl so she won a trophy (actually Nana Pat and Poppa JC won it on the Variety Club Bash) but it was big enough for Mia to sit in!

It was strange working for the whole day. I didn't say bluuuu blaaah baaa to anyone the whole day!

Brrrr!

First real wintery day that Mia has had. Good timing too as all her hand knited jumpers fit her now! Even had to get out her little B&T umbrella. Had a lovely bruch on the waterfront and a pretty cruisy weekend
She is getting more and more independant now, rolling over everywhere so we had to get out the play pen for when Mummy isn't looking. She also wants to hold her own bottle, and spoon which can get messy!

Dinner with all my friends

Had Cassie, Steve and Max along with Jane, Ollie and Molly over for dinner last week (a bit slack taking so long to get these photos on the blog). Discovered that having three babies is no problem at all.... as long as you have six parents at the same time!
All the kids were perfect and went to sleep no problem. Quite cool to catch up with the Dads too, who haven't seen the other babies for ages.
Must have had the camera on the wrong setting as they all came out funny so these were the only ones that i could save.

Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday was our 4year wedding anniversary. Thanks to everyone for your gifts, cards, texts, and phone calls, we felt very spoilt. We even got a card from Mia
We went on a date to Dine in town and had a beautiful dinner and then to the Casino for a little gamble (the gambling didn't last long!).
4 years has gone so fast (you better agree with me Paul!). I still think he is just as hot as when i met him, and that is nearly 9years ago now!

Six Months!!

Can't believe Mia is six months already! We went to see Nana Jean in her party dress for coffee and a hug. Then spent the rest of the day doing chores and playing games. When Paul got home she couldn't have been more excited to see him if she tried. She showed how much older she is getting by rolling over and reading a book with Daddy

Nana Pat's Birthday

Nana pat had her birthday while she was on the Variety Club Bash so we went over for a birthday tea on Monday night. Mia wore her new outfit which looked gorgeous. She wasn't in the best of moods and wasn't interested in socialising with anyone other than Nana Pat!
Mia also gave Pat her first card that she wrote all by herself in her bestest writing.

Pauanui

went to Pauanui for the weekend with Lanny and Mark. Mia was a little gem on Saturday and enjoyed watching our own common wealth games, including golf, pool, bowles, and cards.

Beautiful Girl

Took these photos of Mia before we went away for the weekend, she was so smiley i just love them!

Max and Molly

Caught up with the girls and babies on Friday for a walk. They are really growing fast now. Max had just had his jabs poor thing but he was great. Molly was full of smiles for the camera!

Relaxin in Waiheke

We had a lovely relaxing weekend away at Margaret and Bobby's place in Waiheke. Caught the car ferry over and Mia had a great time pretending to drive the truck. The Jolly Jumper is definately a hit, she bounces like there is no tomorrow and giggles away to herself and as a bonus it tires her out so she sleeps well, could you ask for anything more??
She also rolled over for Paul (which he had to call and make Nana jealous about!). And to top off all her new tricks she sat up on her own for a little bit! (don't think she noticed though, she was just determined to get the bag she was playing with)
