Custard!
Paul and Granddad spent Saturday in the garden getting rid of the pond (getting ready for the crawling stage!) so the fish have gone off to live with Nana Pat.
Nana Jean, Mia and I spent the day shppping.
Mia spent the night at Nana Jean and Granddad's while we finished of the garden (my arms are still sore). They went for a drive then stopped to get a coffee and feed Mia her apple custard, which she gobbled 1/2 a jar of! it is her new favourite.

Smiles for Empire
started the day off playing with Empire (a monkey that Uncle Craig bought for Mia) she smiles away at him then tries to eat his nose.
Caught up with Max and Cassie for a walk along Mission Bay, was such a beautiful afternoon and the babies seemed please to see each other.
then off to Nana Jean's and Granddads for a birthday dinner for Uncle Craig. He was leaving the next morning to go on a surprise trip to the Gold Coast that Amy organised. I am sure she will be exhausted already, Craig is just like a kid when it comes to theme parks!!

More Food
Started with Vegies now, she seems to be getting the hang of things do you think she got enough on her face and bib? She'll be on to 'fluffies' in no time!
Went for a coffee with Amy today, then off to Parnell with Granddad. After watching us play soccer tonight Mia was exhausted so it was home for a bath and bed (wearing new bumble bee pj's)
Oh and I nearly forgot...Mia had her first modeling job! she was wearing some of the 'goblin' clothing range and posed for the camera (Uncle Brent was the photographer) but after two changes of clothes she had done her dash and it was sleep time. Models these days...no stamina!
Congrats to Amy!
Went to dinner at Cazador last night to congratulate Amy on her new promotion. Photography skills not too good though as I missed Joy and Dad from the photo...sorry!
Mia came along to say hello at the beginning and then went to G.Fairy Alannah and Mark's. Alannah made an impromptu sway for Mia while Mark tried to play with Mia with his only toy....dracula!

On Sunday night we went to Craig and Amy's for dinner, a great night and yummy dinner.
Today we Mia and I had coffee with Granddad then met with Craig and Amy for lunch. Stopped of first to Amy's parents shop where we got Mia's first baby spoon, she's had great fun chewing on it all day and now she thinks its her new toy.
Tonight we went to Pat and JC's for dinner for Brent's birthday. Mia was too busy eyeing up all the boys to bother with dinner!
Promise to take more photos soon.

New Dress and Friends
Mia wore her first dress today (still to grow into her other ones) she seemed to like pulling it up so just as well it had matching knickers!
Visited Nanna Jean and Granddad so they could sneek in a cuddle before we go to Waiheke. Then off to catch up the with antenatal girls for a walk along Mission Bay. Five of us, five babies and five buggies....we took up ALL the pavement! All the babies are growing so quickly.
Paul, Mia and I are off to Waiheke for the weekend shortly, Mia's second wine festival!!

Busy Day
Started the day early today (Mia woke up at 5.40, lucky Daddy). Then after a little nap off to see Nana Jean and Granddad. Went up to Titirangi for a coffee with Granddad and there was far too much to see to even think about sleeping.
The afternoon was spent catching up with Kath and Sally at their place. Mia borrowed a play mat and wathed Sal's DVD's while Sal showed us what noise a cow, chicken, dog and even her Daddy makes!
We had soccer tonight (in the rain) so Nana and Granddad came to look after Mia.
Hi to Edith and Jessie, glad you like the blog spot!

Thank goodness for Grandparents!
A pretty cruisy weekend for Paul and I. Nana Jean and Poppa Jack had Mia all day Saturday so we went out for a lovely long brunch by the Harbour Bridge and just relaxed around the house for the rest of the day, they bought her home just in time for bed!! (not before Nana Jean and Mia had a dance in the lounge though)
On Sunday we headed off to Pauanui to see Nana Pat and Poppa JC, Uncle Craig came down too. Mia and I hung out the first afternoon while the others played golf. Craig thought he would be a little rusty then ended up winning!
The next day Mia was handed over to Nana Pat for the day while Paul, Craig, Willy and I went fishing (lots caught, none big enough to keep). Mia and Pat did lots of walking in the buggy (too hot to sleep in the afternoon) and she giggled at Pat till she got the hiccups! Then off to outdoor Bowles while Mia was entertained for the afternoon by Pat and JC.
We stayed till Mia's bed time and she fell asleep before the end of the street. Couldn't resist taking a photo after taking her out of the truck and putting her to bed, she just looked too cute!
